These five paintings document the end of a relationship. The works still hold for me all the raw emotion of loosing someone that I loved. The gifted Norwegian painter and printmaker, Edvard Munch, had a strong influence on my work at this time. I was particularly interested in his symbolic portrayal of themes such as misery.
