This series of paintings was inspired by Clarissa Pinkola Estes’ book Women Who Run with the Wolves. In both this series and the Creation Myth series my work centred on folklore, fairy tales and dream symbols. In A Goddess for every Woman my aim was to celebrate and portray aspects of the women in my life. The series draws on myths, legends, and fairy tales from a vast and eclectic range of traditions.
